Meeting Reminder: Tuesday, September 9, 10:00 am

Meeting Reminder...

Our next meeting will be held:  Tuesday, September 9 at 10am at the Marine Inn

We will be discussing the fundraising events  for the next few months and other hot topics!!
Just an update to let you know that we will not be having our booth at the Fall Fair as planned.
We are very short of "product" to sell and have decided to put our efforts into the Lund Craft Fair instead. This gives us more time to work on the totes, potholders and other items without feeling too stressed.

We also need to discuss whether we should go ahead with the planned film night fundraiser given the teacher/government labour dispute.

The agenda for the meeting will be sent out to you later this week.
Really hope you can attend our meeting on September 9 and reconnect with your fellow Gogos after a busy summer!

MOTHERS DAY SALE IN THE MALL

We have booked a table at the Mall for Saturday, May 3 from 10am to 4pm. This is will be a fundraiser and our theme is MOTHERS' DAY!  We need volunteers to be "on duty" at the table.  If you can take a 2-hour shift contact Maureen at gunpowdertrail@gmail.com.

So far, the items we will have for sale are totes (of course!), hedgehogs (we hope), potholders, new Kazuri jewellery!!, and some odds and ends. We are going to ask if we can sell baking; Maureen will contact bakers if we get permission.  And, we had thought maybe a group of Gogos will get together to create a few small baskets with some garden items in them. If anyone has any items that would work in these baskets such as small plants from your garden, seeds, garden gloves, books, tools, ornamental items, etc., please let Maureen know by using the email address above.

Please pass the word about our table and think about buying something from the table (or asking for something from our selection).  See you May 3!
