$2168
were made at the Lund Craft Fair and $700 at the sale in the Hospital. $1000 came
from tote sales. $135 from Kazuri
jewellery. The baking at the hospital
sale sold very well! There are 36
tote bags ready for sale and we have enough mesh for 12 more. Maggie will order more
mesh and bottoms. Mini mesh bee to be held at Maggie’s on Monday Jan. 19 and another one to
follow when the new materials arrive.
•
Kazuri jewelry – Janice
We are
able keep the existing stock of Kazuri jewelry to sell at this year’s
fund-raising events. After that, the jewelry will not longer be
available.
•
Labels – Maureen
Anyone
can order these useful labels online with a portion of the profits going to our
organization. We will send out the link and/or website
information again when
Maureen returns.
•
Knitting – Helen Middleditch (604-485-6550)
The
knitted hats sold very well. Thanks
Helen. Hedgehogs are still very popular
as well. Thanks Joyce.

Work Gatherings
-mesh
bee
8.
Upcoming Events
•
Film Night – Janice and Ronnie Uhlmann
Malerie
looked at the film we were considering showing and felt that it was not appropriate. The Tribunal film might me a better choice,
along with a visit from the women from
Vancouver Island - as an educational night rather than a fund-raiser.
- Scrabble event? - maybe something to look
at for next winter
- Canada Day Market - to be discussed at our
next meeting.
- Film Festival
- discussion around whether or not there is an opportunity for a table to be
set up during the festival in Feb.
Leslie will look into it.
- Calendars are available from Maggie at half
price - $10.
- Any other
ideas for future fundraising activities or events are welcome.
